Teacher Training is designed to transform your life and the lives
of others by deepening your knowledge of yoga and giving you the tools
to effectively teach yoga to all levels of students.Young and old, flexible and not, super
fit and full figured, we believe all people can benefit from the
teachings of yoga. An effective teacher has the ability to meet people
where they are with expertise and encouragement on their journey.
Yoga
for the People Teacher Training will require you to dig deep & work
hard. Tapping into your unique teacher within will be the underlying
effort as you accumulate over 200 hours of training - learning &
putting thousands of years of wisdom into practice. We will learn,
practice, teach, play and have fun together. The focus of our weekends
together will include:
Yoga Asana, alignment, Sanskrit

Yoga Alliance Approved and upon completion of all requirements, you are
eligible for application
to the Yoga Alliance for 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)

Dorcas Quynn
McWilliams is founder & director of Sol Yoga and has been a teacher
for over 15 years. After 20 years in martial arts, she discovered her
passion in yoga and has been immersed in the practice ever since. With
a blended professional training of Vinyasa & Kripalu Yoga Styles,
from renowned yoga teachers worldwide, Dorcas offers a wide spectrum of
yoga to her students. Teaching both vigorous Vinyasa Flow Yoga and
Gentle Yoga since 1999 to thousands of people has ignited a new passion
to make yoga more accessible to everyone. With joy, lightness and
warmth, Dorcas is honored to guide students toward reaching their full
potential as teachers of yoga.

Yoga for
Grief The Yoga for Grief class includes eight-2.5
hour meetings (yoga, meditation, journaling & group discussion),
one day-long retreat, Heather's audio CD and a Home Practice Workbook.
The cost is $245 for this special 28-hour program, however no one will
be turned away due to an inability to pay. Register today to reserve
your space in the group.
Facilitator: Heather K. Whittington is a certified
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Practitioner and a member of the
International Yoga Therapy Association and the Association of Death
Educators and Counselors. She holds a Certificate of Thanatology from
Hood College where she is a Master's Degree Candidate.

BREAK IT DOWN
